Herring in mustard
Coarse mustard, not smooth — the seeds are half the point. Made in the morning, best by evening.
Ingredients
- pickled herring fillets300 g
- coarse mustard3 tbsp
- sour cream100 g
- red onion0.5 pc
- dill15 g
- sugar1 tsp
Instructions
- Drain the herring. Cut into 2 cm pieces.
- Stir mustard, sour cream and sugar together.
- Slice the onion paper-thin.
- Fold herring and onion through the sauce.
- Refrigerate 4 hours.
- Scatter dill before serving. Eat with rye.
